We all make assumptions. For instance, most people assume that bottled water is better than tap water. But is it?

The short answer is “Yes.” But after that, things become more complicated. Some bottled waters, for example, come right out of municipal reservoirs – where common tap water comes from – before they’re purified. In fact, 50% of the bottled water sold in the United States is nothing more than glorified tap water. Very few brands of water can claim an artesian source, due to its rarity.
